Calendar overview

An introduction to the Tract deal calendar — what it shows, how to navigate it, and how it stays in sync with the deal timeline across all your active transactions.

The deal calendar is a dedicated calendar view that shows every milestone and event across all your active deals in one place. Access it from the Calendar icon in the left sidebar. Unlike a standard calendar that shows all your appointments, the deal calendar also shows deal-related dates that can be color coded by deal.

Every event added to any active deal appears on the deal calendar. Deals with upcoming closings are visually differentiated so the most time-sensitive transactions are always easy to spot.

The deal calendar supports three views accessible from the top right:

Month — the full month at a glance. Best for understanding your overall deal load and spotting busy periods or date clusters across multiple transactions.

Week — a seven-day view with more detail per day. Best for managing your current workload and preparing for the week ahead.

Day — a single day view showing every event scheduled for that date. Best when you have multiple things happening on the same day and need to see the full detail.

Use the arrow buttons at the top left to move forward and backward. Click Today to jump back to the current date at any time. Click any event on the calendar to see the deal it belongs to, the full event details, and a direct link to the deal page.

The relationship between the calendar and the deal page

Section titled “The relationship between the calendar and the deal page”

Every deal event on the calendar exists on the deal page timeline as well. The calendar is a bird’s eye view of every transaction and also general calendar events. Adding an event on the deal page adds it to the calendar. Editing it on the calendar updates the deal page. They’re always in sync.

Open the calendar in month view to see your full pipeline at a glance. Deals with events clustering in the same week are immediately visible — useful for anticipating busy periods and making sure nothing gets lost when multiple transactions are moving simultaneously. If two closings are scheduled on the same day or an inspection overlaps with another deal’s contingency deadline, the month view makes that visible before it becomes a problem.

Use the deal filter at the top of the calendar to show only one property’s events. Useful when walking a client through upcoming dates or reviewing a single transaction without the noise of other deals.
