Uploading documents
How to upload documents directly to a deal or folder in Tract.
When to upload manually
Section titled “When to upload manually”Not every document arrives as an email attachment. Contracts signed in person, documents downloaded from a portal, or files created outside of email can be uploaded directly to a deal’s document center without going through email at all.

Uploading to a folder
Section titled “Uploading to a folder”To upload a document to a specific folder rather than a deal, open the document center, navigate to the folder, and click New. The document will be filed inside that folder rather than attached to a specific deal. Use this for templates and reference documents that apply across multiple transactions.
File size and type limits
Section titled “File size and type limits”Tract supports all common file types including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, and PNG. If you run into an unsupported file type or size limit, contact us and we can help.
